In the Winter season (between November and February) Wine growers prune vine shoots, They remove side shoots and select the buds (the ones which will give shoots and the ones which will give the fruits of the following year).

| In Spring season (March/April) Wine growers prune fruitless branches from the trunk and remove useless buds called “gourmands”. |
| In Summer season (July) Wine growers remove manually some of the leaves of the branches so that the sun’s rays should penetrate better to the heart of the grape vine. That limits the rot and facilitates grapes ripeness. |
| In Autumn season (September/October) Wine growers and their whole team harvest the grapes. The brunches of grapes are being harvested manually or mechanically with a specific machine : a grape harvester. |
